What can robotics do today? Enabling technologies in knee arthroplasty

Accredited by the Royal College of Surgeons of England*

Experts lecture and share experience on the role of robotics assistance in knee arthroplasty. They outline what would constitute ‘perfect’ surgery, focusing on aspects such as rotation, positioning and alignment, then demonstrates the features of handheld robotics assistance- both during surgery and for pre-operative planning. After briefly presenting evidence on the performance of robotic assisted knee arthroplasty, they examine future trends towards robotics in arthroplasty.
